shifting (a confession)
i was flipping thru the channels this morning trying to find something to watch. vh1. mtv. hgtv. ehhh. stopped on cspan. it was a re-broadcast of the cnn/youtube democratic debate. and it was really interesting.

yes, errrr, it happened on friends and full house (i think!) and now it has happened in my family. lol.
my sister-in-law gave birth to her baby at the same time my brother (other brother, not the baby’s father) was in surgery having his appendix removed!!
everybody is doing fine now, thankfully. beautiful baby was born and my brother is also doing well.

i decided to order the qwest 1.5 mbps dsl and test it against charter’s 3 mbps cable high speed internet. cable is supposed to be faster?? but ummm, not here. plus it has been out completely a bunch lately. i mean, i know i live in a small town (i.e. not important area for them) but jeeeez. this is pathetic. *sigh* i tested out both options at my house and the results are below. i’m...
Motherhood Guilt →
parenting is a hard job. especially when everybody else has an opinion about what (and how) you are doing. my sister-in-law told me once, “you don’t know guilt until you are a mom.” true. but also it is equally true that while there are no perfect parents, there are thousands of ways to be a good parent.

knocked up
omg, “knocked up” was hilarious!! cracked me up. definitely not a kid-friendly movie (rated R for good reason), but my sister and i laughed so much. rofl. hmmmmmmmmmm. my sister and i loved “my father the hero” (remember that movie??) that came out when i was 14, and i’ve loved katherine heigl ever since then.
