People have been so paranoid about having any presence online for such a long time. A lot of them have gone through that transition of ‘Well, shit, it’s out there. I’m searchable on Flickr or Google.’ The cat is out of the bag, and the only way to take back that control is to get out there and have a presence, have an identity that you feel represents you.

And I hope they do. I know there are many concerns, but I think we need to tap into our existing resources, as well as aggressively develop alternative energy sources. If we would have acted on this 10 or 20 years ago it wouldn’t be as much of a mess as it is now.
Obama Family Interview - Part 2
Obama’s kids are really cute. I don’t blame him for deciding not to do future interviews though. Kids really should be off-limits. Knowingly putting them out in the public eye probably isn’t in their best interest - I’m surprised they agreed to this interview in the first place. That said, the interview was harmless and the kids were really cute. The only real issue is the unsavory attention it could attract to them.
