how tragic to have to make it through a day without my laptop…

took ”lappy” [laptop] to the office early this morning for a work software upgrade. i had to drop it off because i had a meeting at the same time on the other side of the county. i called the office at about 2pm thinking it would be done and found out there were problems and it wasn’t done yet. i’m waiting for a phone call saying it is ready…

unforunately, i needed to receive an ad-proof this afternoon (!!) so i called up my mom and asked her if i could use her computer. [yes, i do have access through my phone if i want but really that isn’t the best to look at an ad that really needs to be looked at full-size to catch potential mistakes.] so she said…”just take your dad’s old one!”

and here i am. :) got the email. called the publisher and initiated corrections that needed to happen today. woohoo!

and all by 4pm.
