it bugs me that wikipedia and people generally can’t seem understand that where i live is technically still a separate place from the town 3 miles away. yes, it is true that we are connected - we share our government, schools, water and the library for the other town is located in our town…

but we have a separate name and our own post office and zip code. if you put the name of the other town or their zip code on a letter to me it will not get delivered. trust me - my relatives have tried. :)

we haven’t been completely annexed.
