that’s what the wind speed ended up being - 153 mph.
wow! ummm, i guess that is why so many people lost their roofs and their was so much damage. i just got a myspace message asking if we had a chainsaw and could help with an aquaintance’s aunt and uncle who had 4 huge trees down in their yard and 1 through their house. (answer is yes)
last i heard, 13 people died in oregon and washington from the storm. one particularly sad story is about a woman by tillamook who got swept away in her truck by flood waters while they were attempting to rescue her. they said they were within 3 feet of saving her. :(
last storm was only a few weeks ago. winds @ 86 mph. another one is supposed to hit this next weekend. blahhhhhh. not excited. my brother-in-law and their family just got power after being out for 6 days. i can’t really complain about being out for like 3 1/2 days. but still…
feeling grumpy about another storm coming.
