haha.

sooooo, a few months ago my parents gave me their old computer for wyatt to have. he plays games on it. it was in his room up until tonight when i was bored and decided to drag it into the office and see if i couldn’t clean it up so he could play online games too.

my parents had stopped using it because it became infected. so much so that using it for many tasks was enough to make you want to claw your eyes out because of how sloooooow it was. argh.

updated the virus protection. scanned. cleaned. miraculously, it appears to have worked. 3 trojan horses found and fixed (can it really be?? i am skeptical because in the past they were ridiculously difficult to get rid of). it is so much faster…like a normal computer! i thought about wiping the hard drive but i didn’t because i don’t have everything i would need to reinstall.

i’m keeping my fingers crossed that it really took care of the problems…
