I can’t decide lately if I like my Twitter (and all status updates) public or would rather have them friends-only. I started off with my Twitter updates being public, changed them to private (and dropped some followers), and then back to public - mainly because I wanted them to show up on my Tumblr.

Per my laziness, lately I’ve started posting to Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace simultaneously. I’ve got different friends on each so it makes sense. I set up a Twitter account to feed in my Facebook Friends status updates (and I wish I could do that with the Myspace ones too). I had that public at first but why should it be (I mean who should care about that but me or people I know in real life)? I dumped the followers off that one, except for me of course. ;) But if I can make up a public Twitter account blasting my friends’ status updates for the world to see, how secure or private would it be if I tried to make all my status updates friends-only? Umm, not so much.

So, is there a point? I dunno.
