I hate the divisiveness. I hate the us-against-them mentality. But I have a hard time not getting sucked into it. I mean, duh, of course my views have the most merit. ;) The truth is that each point of view represents part of the truth, a piece of the picture. Things aren’t nearly as crystal clear as each side would have you believe. It’s complicated. It’s messy.

George Bush isn’t the Anti-Christ. Neither is Obama. Or John McCain. They are just people.

We could all do with a little less drama. (Republican and Democrats are both guilty here.)

I’m going to make an attempt to be more pro and less anti.

Vote for whoever you think is the best person for the job.
