I’m assuming posting this as being said by John McCain was just a mistake on the part of livejamie. (Corrections in the original quote are from me.) McCain corrected the woman who made this statement by saying it wasn’t true.

Just last Friday, a woman told Senator John McCain at a town-hall-style meeting, “I have read about him,” and “he’s an Arab.” Mr. McCain corrected her.
